Celebrating 21 years of the African American Breast Cancer Alliance and Celebrating You, Life and Laughter!

The AABCA has an annual celebration of our organization established in October 1990 to share life saving information and social support for women and men diagnosed with breast cancer.  We share our thanks to the many family, friends, medical and spiritual supporters that have been by our sides through our cancer journeys.

Being a SURVIVOR is hard work, but we did it inch by inch, step by step with determination, faith, hope, medical treatments and love.  We are grateful for everyday and everyday is a celebration.

Join us on Saturday, October 22, 2011, 4 - 7 pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Downtown, Minneapolis for an uplifting evening with survivors, thrivers and supporters.

Hosted By

African American Breast Cancer Alliance, Inc. (AABCA)

The African American Breast Cancer Alliance was created to support African American women diagnosed with breast cancer, to educate the public about the disease and encourage support of the everyday living through cancer, as we become survivors. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death for black women in the US, as they are diagnosed with advanced and aggressive breast cancers. We want to see this change with early detection, early diagnosis, research and treatment of this disease. We want to share information about available resources and support for African American women, men, families and communities affected by breast cancer.
